Where your money goes

At Hft we rely on donations to help us support adults with learning disabilities to lead lives which are as fulfilling and independent as possible.

These are just some of the ways your money is spent to support people:

Where your money goes

£5 a month would help towards the cost of a work experience placement for someone with learning disabilities wanting to get a job

£12 a month would help towards the adaptations needed for people as they age (such as stair lifts or adapted bathrooms) so they can stay in their own homes for longer

£25 would help pay for a group music therapy session involving singing, playing instruments or moving to music to increase confidence and improve speech

£50 would help support someone to live independently in their own home

£500 would help pay for the training needed for staff to enable someone with profound and multiple learning disabilities to communicate effectively with their carers
