Supported Living Worker - Waking Nights
Hours: Various from 10 to 40 hours per week full time
Location: Garforth area of Leeds
Salary: £7.50 (aged 21 and over) or £7.48 (between the age of 18-20) both rising to £7.86 per hour (on successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 2)
We currently have vacancies for Waking Night Workers who are required to remain awake throughout the night to support individuals with personal support needs as required. As part of the duties the applicant must be able to create logs and make recordings.
No previous experience is required for this role, what is more important is that you have a passion and desire to be part of the social care world, and are enthusiastic about supporting people.
An awareness or knowledge of learning disabilities would be great, however if you have a caring nature, like being around people and can tackle issues with a positive frame of mind, then you are highly encouraged to apply today. This role may involve some intimate personal care.
As we provide 24/7 support you need to be able to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays. You will also be required to accompany people we support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities.
