About the Service
Within Bedfordshire we have a range of services to meet the needs of the people we support. These include; Residential, Supported living, a transition service and a Resource centre. These services are located across Clifton, Shefford & Biggleswade.

We currently have part time and full time opportunities available within our residential services in both Clifton and Shefford.

You will be welcomed in to the team and coached along the way and will also receive outstanding training for your role.

As we provide 24/7 support, this role will suit you if you like the idea of working shifts, including every other weekend, some nights and Bank Holidays. You may also have the opportunity to accompany people we support on holidays and attend training courses and other activities.

Qualifications and experience
A Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or a similar subject) is ideal for becoming a support worker, but not essential, and a willingness to work towards one is definitely welcomed.

You don't need experience of support work or any special qualifications for this job; you'll get plenty of training along the way. What matters most is your positive attitude to life and your desire to support people with learning disabilities
