Hft Fundraising launch legacies video
The Fundraising department have created a new video resource to help increase awareness of legacies, and how fundraised donations can help change the lives of the people we support.
The video features Chris, a person we support in Bristol.
When Chris first arrived at Hft, he struggled with his behaviour and suffered from anxiety. It was soon discovered that Chris was unable to read, so he found it more difficult to interact with the world around him.
Chris’ support workers take time to assist with his reading, whether it’s helping with difficult words or checking spellings. This has helped make Chris become more independent and increased his confidence when travelling around in his community.
The video highlights the fact that that fundraising pays for all of the things which local authorities do not provide.
Katie Tennyson, Legacy Manager said: “This video is a very good example of how a gift of any size can make a difference to the people we support."
