At Hft Cheshire and Merseyside, we recruit staff from the local community so they can use their knowledge of the area to support people in leading a full and varied life.
All of our staff are passionate about involving people with learning disabilities in all aspects of their lives and ensuring they have a say in how their support is provided.
Regional Manager – the team at Hft Cheshire and Merseyside is managed by Karen Graham. Karen has more than 10 years' social care management experience.
Operations Managers – Karen is supported by Annabelle Phoenix and Margaret Russell, who is also the registered manager with the CQC.
Service Managers - each staff team is managed by a Service Manager, who typically manage several teams working across several locations.
Support Workers – Hft ensures support staff have regular supervision and training. We match staff interests and skills to the people they are supporting to make our support as effective as possible.
We believe in providing consistent, creative support from experienced and knowledgeable staff to support people in living the life that they want.
The people we support are involved in the recruitment of new staff members too, often playing a part in the interview process or meeting the potential candidate at a compatibility meeting before job offers are made.
All our staff have access to a comprehensive training programme, which is tailored to their specific needs.
