Our services include:
Supported living and domiciliary care
We provide supported living services for people with learning disabilities to help them live more independently. Support is designed according to individual requirements and is totally flexible - we can provide support from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day.
We provide registered care services.
We provide a mixture of on and off-site activities at our Milton Heights site, including activities promoting health, well-being and maintaining mobility such as keep-fit, dance, football, table tennis, multi-sports, music, relaxing foot baths & hand massage, mixed sports, and walking .
We also provide a range of cultural and life skills opportunities, including a Makaton signing group, a culture group looking at other countries, and various arts and crafts activities, including drama, music and art.
We have a new supported employment service called Hft Work Mates, which helps people with learning disabilities into employment.
Our “Byte Size Learning” project is a new approach to training for people with learning disabilities. The project equips students with City and Guilds qualifications, allowing them to progress into employment in the catering industry.
Short breaks and respite
We know how important breaks can be to family carers. We can provide short break and respite services so families know the person they care for is in good hands.
Within our services we have developed some specific areas of support, including supporting people on the Autistic spectrum, and supporting people with learning disabilities who are ageing. We have particular experience of supporting those with Dementia and end of life care.
