At Hft we work with a range of partners to deliver effective, high quality services to the people we support and their families.
We work closely with the people we support and their families to ensure we develop services that are personalised to their needs and goals.
In addition, we work with a range of local organisations to ensure we provide the best opportunities for the people we support:
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames - We partner with various professionals regarding day to day health and support. We also work with the Council on the learning disability parliament, which allows service users with learning disabilities to have a say in what happens in Kingston for people with learning disabilities.
Kingston College –we work closely with Kingston College to provide educational opportunities for people with learning disabilities – supporting people to get to courses, as well as supporting them to participate.
Local advocacy groups – we work with the Kingston Advocacy group and Voicability – who help people who have difficulty in expressing their needs and views to have a say in decisions that affect them and how they live their lives.
Foundation for people with learning disabilities Quality Futures team– we work with the Quality futures team to continually improve the opportunities and quality of life of people living in residential and supported living services.
The Princes Trust has worked with us on a number of occasions to complete team challenges. The organisation has raised money for the service and has helped to facilitate activities for the people we support.
Leisure Services – we work with various local leisure centres and church groups providing activities for the people we support.
